About This Year's Bossy Brunch

The Bossy Brunch 5th Anniversary – Derby Edition takes place on May 17, 2026, celebrating five years of community, connection, and elevation through a Kentucky Derby–inspired theme honoring the Year of the Horse. Hosted at a beautiful indoor/outdoor venue in Westchester, NY, the event blends brunch, networking, and good vibes with a polished pink and yellow mandatory dress code. 
 
Guests experience engaging conversation through a special first time ever all-male panel focused on leadership, growth, and community, while the Ladies Best Derby Hat Contest adds a stylish and fun highlight to the day. With great delicacies, music, and intentional connection, the 5th anniversary of The Bossy Brunch is designed to celebrate the journey so far while setting the tone for what’s next.

Tabby Turnier (Founder)

Tabitha “Tabby” Turnier is a premier event planner and production coordinator from Mount Vernon, NY. She founded Turnier Events in 2019 and later launched The Bossy Brunch in 2022, an annual networking event spotlighting entrepreneurs in various fields. With a strong passion for event styling and design, Tabitha blends creativity with her background in fashion marketing, event production and media. She remains focused on scaling her brands while pursuing her vision with consistency and purpose.

Young Prince (Host)

Young Prince, the Bronx-born international MC, began his career in 2014, performing at church and college events. Since then, he has evolved into a professional event host, captivating audiences on some of the most iconic stages, including the Apollo Theater, Sony Music Hall, and AfroFuture. As an energetic and engaging host, YP is on a mission to celebrate culture and create unforgettable experiences at events worldwide.

Shane Miller

Shane Miller, Associate Director at NYU Photo Bureau, is an editorial photographer, creative director, and project manager from the Bronx. Inspired by his grandmother’s photo albums, he creates award-winning, purpose-driven images that capture brand identity and tell compelling stories. Shane has worked across creative and corporate markets, and his proudest honor is a City Council Citation for his community contributions.

Dante Hillmedo

Dante Hillmedo is a New York–based filmmaker and entrepreneur, founder of Team Elite Productions LLC, delivering high-end visual content across prominent films, music, fashion, and live events. A writer and director, his debut feature Butterfly has gained film festival recognition. Dante’s work blends character-driven storytelling with disciplined, strategic growth for lasting creative impact.

HD Chuck is a Product and Merchandising Strategist with over a decade of experience connecting product, culture, and commerce. Since founding his own brand in 2011, he has brought an entrepreneurial mindset to global merchandising leadership, shaping assortments, driving strategy, and crafting brand stories that balance creativity with commercial impact. Known for fostering collaboration and inspiring innovation, HD Chuck builds strategies that go beyond trends to create lasting brand influence.

Darnell Liburd

Darnell Liburd is a Bronx native, community advocate, and nonprofit founder committed to expanding opportunity for underserved communities. A Delaware State University graduate and proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., he serves as Senior Manager of Corporate Relations at the Fund for Public Health in New York.

He is also the Founder of Darnell Cares Inc. and a founding member of Hungry For Change NYC Inc., continuing his mission of service and community impact.

Council Member Kevin Riley

Kevin C. Riley, a lifelong Northeast Bronx resident, is the NYC Council Member for District 12. Since taking office in 2021, he has secured over $130 million for his district, passed landmark legislation including FDNY Diversity bills, and expanded youth, senior, and financial education programs. He launched Roads to Invest Fest, giving Bronx youth access to scholarships, entrepreneurship, and higher education opportunities. Chair of the Council Committee on Land Use, Riley shapes housing, planning, and economic development citywide. A founding member of The Dad Gang and proud Kappa Alpha Psi brother, he leads mentorship programs and serves as an adjunct professor, all while being a devoted husband and father of three.

J. Dinkins

Jerrell Dinkins is a real estate entrepreneur, speaker, and founder of Real Estate Revenue Secrets, where he teaches passive income through Airbnb without owning property. Raised in the Bronx, Jerrell transitioned from corporate America to entrepreneurship, launching rental arbitrage Airbnbs alongside his wife Yvonne in 2021 and generating over $2.3M in revenue. He has helped thousands start short-term rentals, produced multiple six- and seven-figure earners, and been featured on platforms like Forbes, Social Proof, and Million Dollaz Worth of Game. A proud father of three, JD’s mission is to show that financial freedom is possible, no matter where you start.
